Events & Schedule

We are continuing to plan the family reunion based upon the success and suggestions of past reunions.

Family Pictures - Group family photo

Family Pictures

Group family pictures will be taken at an arranged time (schedule to come soon) to give families a few options to have everyone on hand. Try to arrange your photo for when you will have most of your family on site.

Doris & Penny will be reaching out to each family to find out what day works best for their family.

A celebration of life will take place at the Vassar Cemetery on Sunday morning at 10:00 am to honour those in our family that are no longer with us.

Family Group Photo

Sunday – 2:00 pm

Sunday is the day most families are on site, so we are arranging to have a drone camera take a photo of our whole family! Wear your coloured family shirts and stand together in one big group and show the world how big this family is!

Pot Luck Dinner

Sunday, 5:00 p.m.

Original siblings cutting the cake at potluck

Once again we will be having a delicious big bountiful potluck dinner on Sunday evening at 5:00 pm under the picnic shelter on the grounds.

The reunion committee will be providing pulled pork and meatballs for the main dish, along with buns, plates, cutlery etc. Feel free to bring your own plates and cutlery if you prefer (less plastic use please!).

Each family (and each generation of the larger families) are asked to bring a side dish. This could include vegetables, salads, pastas, rice, cabbage rolls, perogies, etc… and of course desserts! In previous years, the committee supplied potatoes, but we will not be doing that again this year so please consider bringing hot side dishes.

NOTE: Please bring a quantity that is representative of your family size (if you have a larger family bring a large dish or multiple dishes).

If we are expecting rain, the potluck dinner will be moved to the Vassar Hall.
